Welcome to 6th Grade!
Welcome back to school to those 6th graders who are returning, and hello, I am so glad to have all the new students this year. There are some changes this year at Imagine Romig Road Community School for our 6th grade leaders. We will be trying out some different things in the classrooms, and planning a FANTASTIC field trip, out of state for the spring.
Once again you are the oldest and strongest leaders for our school. We coaches for 6th grade are expecting outstanding leadership in our 6 measures of excellence. Last year, you did a great job with your Ohio Achievement Assessments, and this year you will be expected to carry on the flame. We are looking for your very best.
The 6th grade coaches know that you will be the leaders for our school with character education, and that you will be leading the underclassmen be example. We are looking for, and expecting your leadership.
Once again you will have the opportunity to help our school stay economically sustained. We will take a lead role with recycling and we will live the philosophy of "waste not-want not."
We are looking for exellence with our shared values. You will have "fun" with decision making again this year. We will run our classrooms with justice and integrity. We know you will help us live up to our shared values by giving each other justice when needed.
Your parents are SO IMPORTANT to the success of our school. They have chosen to allow you to attend Imagine. We aim to please them everyday. We know that you too will join us in doing your best to make your parents proud of both you and Imagine.
So...get ready to SOAR! Dream Big! Face your Giants! Your coaches will be with you the whole way, but we will never accept less than your best. Let nothing hold you back, because after all...
